On February 18, 2026 (Wednesday), an Outreach Open Campus was held at Ishikawa Prefectural Kanazawa Nishikigaoka Junior High School as part of the ¡°Nishikigaoka College¡± program.

Under the theme ¡°Learning Well-being Nursing through the Use of Technology,¡± we introduced the research activities being carried out by our department. Students were also given the opportunity to experience technology-based nursing techniques firsthand, including the use of pocket ultrasound devices, XR-based learning materials, and seat pressure measurement systems.

In addition to their existing image of nursing, the students showed great interest in this new form of nursing that incorporates advanced technology. Although they appeared surprised at first, they actively and enthusiastically participated in the hands-on activities.

In addition, our communication robots, the public relations representatives LOVOT and Romi, also joined the event and helped energize the venue.

We hope that this experience will inspire the students to develop an interest in nursing, healthcare, and the future of medicine supported by technological innovation.
