What Is a Certified Nurse Administrator?

A Certified Nurse Administrator, or CNA, is a professional who serves the health/medicine/welfare sector through contributing to maintaining and improving the quality of nursing administrators and nursing standards, so that high-quality organizational nursing services can be provided to individuals, families, and community residents with diverse health needs.

Required Qualifications

The Japanese Nursing Association certification assessment is open to individuals who have five or more years’ total work experience as a public health nurse, midwife, or nurse, and who have a master’s degree, who have specialized in Nursing Administration (Master’s course) at this university, and have three or more years’ experience as a nursing administrator in a clinical setting.
